So tomorrow will be my amazing boyfriend and I's 4 year anniversary! Wow has time flew :)
Well anyways I bought him this awesome ring that I had engraved, and I was thinking, man how goofy would pulling out a ring box to give him be, so I starting thinking how I could present without it being so blunt. So I decided I would make a bouquet and put it in the flowers, no not a bouquet of flowers, a bouquet of small liquor bottles! Here is what I came up with, It was super inexpensive to make and turned out great!
Luckily our anniversary falls 2 days after Valentines day so its perfect, I grab all the heart things that are half off and throw something together. I bought 5 heart tassel things from Michael's for only .49 each, the basket for $1.00, 2 long sticks from michaels for .29 each. 7 bottle from a local liquor store for $1 to $2 dollars and everything else (foam circle, green tinsel, and sticky dots) for under $5.
The hardest part was putting the 'grass' on, I had to play around and figure out how I wanted to do it, I tried Elmers glue, but it just soaked into the foam, so I ended up just piling it up all over and shoving piece by piece into the sides of the bucket and between each crack, then I covered it all with a little bit of Elmers glue all over the place to some what keep the grass sticking together.
(I took the cover off the crown bottle and put the ring box into it and hung it off the side so the ring kinda goes with the theme)
